Bio

i'm kat and this section really needed to be updated. i grew up in d.c., moved to the philly area when i was 14, had an awesome time there, and moved to brooklyn for school last year. i work really hard in school because college is expensive and if i'm going to be in this much debt, i'm making damn sure it's worth it. so that's a very large part of my life right now. aside from that, i work as a waitress in manhattan, and devote a huge amount of time to political action and social justice. this was always a part of my life (growing up in d.c. especially), but it became personal after being arrested at the '04 rnc and escalated very quickly from there. i'm an active member of sds and i'm damn proud of it. no worries, i do think about other things.
